(Cape Canaveral, FL) — Today, Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson arrived in Florida with several Science, Space, and Technology Committee Members to attend the launch of Artemis I, which is slated for Monday morning.

“As a dedicated supporter of our space exploration program, I am very delighted to be here in Florida to attend the launch of the Artemis I mission,” said Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX). “This test flight will bring us one step closer to our return to the Moon and beyond, and I want to congratulate everyone involved in the mission for getting us to this critical point. I am hopeful that the conditions will be favorable to proceed safely with the launch tomorrow morning and I wish NASA, the Artemis team, and their contractor and international partners the best of luck as they prepare for this historic day.”
